The Great Gatsby

After having the time of my life at Homecoming with Nate, I had to ask him to the Halloween Dance. He is a really special guy that I didn't want to lose. We had so much fun together and I wasn't going to let any other girl take him to this dance. We had gotten closer within the last month and I was excited to see where things were going with us.

Here's how Nate answered me back to the dance. He had me count the eyeballs and if there was 100 his answer was yes! So I counted through the eyeballs. The first time I counted I got 99. Ugh I sucked at counting. So I counted again. Crap, the second time I got 98. What?? So the third time I had my family help me count haha! After everyone had counted there were only 99 eyeballs. This had to be a joke right? It totally was. Knowing Nate, he was just teasing me. After waiting a little while I actually started to get nervous. My brother started laughing super hard and said, "Haha he said no!!"

Finally there was another knock on my    door and when I opened the front door the 100th eye ball was there!! "No need to fear, the rest of your answer is here! Yes!!! -Nate"
I was so relieved, haha he said YES!

Here's a picture of us after a haunted house we went through for our day activity. It was so scary!! I've been through a couple of haunted houses and this was by FAR the scariest one I've ever been through. It even made Nate jump a lot. I hate scary things but going through it with Nate made everything better.

This dance was one of my favorites. It was so chill. For our costumes we dressed up really nice and had a Gatsby theme. Nate looked so amazing (once again) his hair was slicked so nicely and he pulled off the theme really well. He even had a cane with him which made the costume 10 times better haha! Our group was a ton of fun. Everyone looked so nice. We had a Gatsby theme dinner and even watched The Great Gatsby after the dance was over.
