Why do I blog?


I started blogging when I was a senior in High School. I never posted anything because I didn't want anyone to see haha! My blog for me was sort of like an online journal (I still keep my personal journal by my bedside and my scrapbook at home) but this to me was faster and something else that I can hold onto forever. Making memories and looking back at fun little moments is something that I will always enjoy.

 I hadn't blogged for awhile and then I started up again when I made my cute missionary's blog (while he is out serving in Singapore/Malaysia) and after having so much fun creating that page, I FINALLY decided to write a little more on my blog, update it some more, and post my link so others can see it. This is something that makes me extra happy and I love being able to share funny moments and little moments that mean the most to me. I will also be sharing experiences later on that have helped me become more happy :) 




My heart holds a special place for

Kids with special needs. I love them! My brother Greg, who is 25 years old, has Down Syndrome and OH what a blessing he is to me and my family!! There's something special about these kids. They have such a sweet spirit to them and are so innocent in this crazy world we live in! I learn more from these kids than I ever have from anyone else in my whole life. 

My brother has taught me to:

-love everyone UNCONDITIONALLY

-forgive as soon as possible

- Be happy, ALWAYS

- don't take ONE day for granted

- be happy for YOUrself

- find the good in everyone 

I definitely wouldn't be where I am without my brother. 

I will be blogging a lot about my cute brother so I hope he can make you guys smile and help you out as much as he has helped me :) 

My Missionary

Elder Schwemmer is serving in the Singapore/Malaysia mission speaking MANDARIN CHINESE! As of right now he is serving in IPOH (which is in West Malaysia.)It still amazes me that Heavenly Father can bless our missionaries with so much. 

Elder Schwemmer is truly an example to me! He left August 5, 2015 and will return in TWO years! (I definitely have a CALLED TO SERVE sticker chart ;) haha!) It's such a fun, crazy adventure but the one thing that I am thankful for is COMPUTERS, PICTURES & being able to email my best friend every Sunday night. I have made a blog about his mission so if any of you are interested in it, you can go to his blog at the bottom!
